    Join us at the Crossways Centre in Yardley Hastings near Northampton – a beautiful converted chapel with peaceful surroundings, easy to get to by train. Spend a few days with students from chaplaincies and groups around the UK and be part of an inclusive community.

    SCM Conference 2010

    This year's SCM conference was the biggest in 20 years, with over 100 students coming from all over the UK and beyond to think and act on living out faith. See the Conference page for reflections, photos, video and resources.

  • SCMers join protestors at Aldermaston

    SCMers joined around 800 other demonstrators outside Aldermaston Atomic Weapons Establishment on 15 February.

    Faith groups blockaded the Tadley Gate, with several demonstrators lying down to block the road. Around 100 others supported them, singing protest songs, hymns and Taize chants, and dancing in the road.

  • Support for Haiti on Day of Prayer for Students

    Prayers for the Student Christian Movement in Haiti, Zimbabwe and the Phillipines were said during the closing worship at 'Living it out', the SCM 2010 conference.

    The collection raised a fantastic £220 for SCM Haiti, to go towards their relief and rebuilding work following the recent earthquake. A sincere thankyou to everyone who contributed!

  • WSCF Universal Day of Prayer for Students 2010

    The subject of 2010's Universal Day of Prayer for Students reflects WSCF's (World Student Christian Federation) theme for 2010, 'Climate Justice'.

    This year, students and friends in SCMs across the world are asked to pray for the appreciation and care of God's creation, to educate themselves about climate change, to make a firm commitment to work for Climate Justice, and to work for justice and peace for all people.
