“We must be ready to allow ourselves to be interrupted by God. God will be constantly crossing our paths and cancelling our plans by sending us people with claims and petitions.” - Dietrich Bonhoeffer
On Friday evening we will be coming together to share a meal prepared by the Rainbow Junktion Real Junk Food Project Cafe, and there will be time to relax and get to know other students over board games.
The Saturday includes Project Bonhoeffer’s day conference titled ‘Faith in Political Action Today’, with guest speakers Dr Jennifer McBride (McCormick Theological Seminary & International Bonhoeffer Society) and Dave Paterson (Unity in Poverty Action and St George’s Crypt). SCM Friends can book for the day conference on the Project Bonhoeffer Eventbrite page here. There will also be a reflective workshop led by SCM, as well as time for prayer and more tasty food.
On Sunday morning students will join with local SCM Link Churches for their morning service before travelling home.
A full programme is now available and keep an eye on our Facebook page for the latest news!
When you book you will have the choice of paying now or paying on the day so don't worry if you can't pay right now.
We provide a number of bursaries to go towards your travel costs. If this would be helpful for you download the form and email it back to us.
