A discussion on licencing of Christian resources
Hi,
okay I'm not a student so forgive the intrusion but I am a Christian and I was really interested to see that you had put your resources here under Creative Commons licences.
I have started a discussion forum on a proposed resources library where all the content would be available under licences such a Creative Commons. We'd really value your input and comments.
Recently I've been thinking a lot about the way licencing of Christian resources prohibits active sharing and remixing and how something like Creative Commons could rescue the Church from this culture of not sharing with each other. I've blogged on the subject a few times and this led to discussions with others about what can be done to take the next steps in Church resourcing.
To that end I have started a discussion forum on a proposed resources library where all the content would be available under licences such a Creative Commons. We'd really value your input and comments. Please note that I am not looking to sell or promote anything beyond the discussion of what this online resource should be, what it is called, what kind of content, how should it be used. It's early days but as said we'd really value your views.
