Called to be Peacemakers conference - 'Talking with our Enemies'

If you are between 18 and 30 years old and want to explore the challenge of talking with our ‘enemies’, this conference is for you.

· Explore the dynamics of identity that drive hostility, hatred and violence

· Hear insights on interreligious engagement from experienced practitioners Ray Gaston (Queens Foundation for Ecumenical Theological Education) and Jill Mann (Together 4 Peace)

· Discuss the dilemmas of ‘Talking With Our Enemies’ with FoR(E) director Millius Palayiwa, whose experience includes negotiating peace with rebel groups in West Africa

· Learn creative approaches to dialogue and explore nonviolent options for engaging your opponents

· Spend time in spiritual reflection, relax in beautiful countryside, meet new friends
