Called to be... SCM Gathering: Manchester

Join students and recent graduates to explore who you are "Called to be...", the SCM Gathering at St Peter's House Chaplaincy this March. The weekend includes workshops, Bible Study, worship, food and our guest speaker is Timothy Radcliffe O.P.- Catholic priest, theologian, author, Dominican prior, Honorary Doctor of Divinity at the University of Oxford, and the Consulter for the Pontifical Council of Justice and Peace, who will be speaking about vocation. How to get here? 

St Peters House is on Oxford Road, M13 9GH. You can get there by bus or on foot from Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Oxford Road Railway Stations. You can plan your route here.

What is provided for £5?

Crashpad accomodation (sleeping on the church floor) and meals are all provided. 

What if I can't sleep on the floor?

Let us know; we can find a bed for you if you can't. We might also be able to help with rollmats if that would make it easier for you. 

What do I need to bring with me?

We'll send out a full kitlist nearer the time, but basics include clothes, sleeping bag and roll mat (or airbed, camp bed etc.), washkit. There is also a swimming pool nearby if you would like a swim and a shower, so bring a swimming costume and towel. You may also want a Bible, notebook and pen!

I can't make the whole weekend, can I still come along to some of it?

Yes! Let us know what you are planning to come to.
