Part time Student Outreach Workers x3, Universities Chaplaincy in Leeds

We are the chaplaincy team at the Emmanuel Centre. We offer chaplaincy to all the students and staff at the University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett University and the University of Law. What does that mean?

We’re the Christian chaplaincy but we’re here for all people, no matter what they believe (or don’t), and our big take-home point is that we don’t have all the answers but are on a rather exciting journey of discovery into what it all means. We’re interested in people, faith, community, meaning, purpose, the search for understanding… and the more we ponder, the more we realise that all these things are connected.

We are seeking three individuals to become Student Outreach Workers who will play a very important role in the life of the chaplaincy. You’ll join our team and help us shape the chaplaincy direction in the year ahead.

We really believe that this role will give you the opportunity to develop some of your passions and interests, and are particularly interested to hear from you if any of the following is your ‘thing’:

•       Social media
•       Passion for environmental and social justice issues
•       Creative arts: music, design, performance, writing
•       Wellbeing
•       Spiritual development of students
•       Worship and prayer

In return we will pay you money, support you, and generally help you become an even more amazing person. For more information visit our website

Closing Date: 22nd September
