Communities of Hospitality Project Assistant - Jesuit Refugee Service UK
The JRS UK is seeking to recruit a Communities of Hospitality Project Assistant on a part-time basis (22.5 hours weekly), to assist with the development and implementation of the At Home hosting scheme.
JRS UK runs the At Home hosting scheme, through which destitute asylum seekers attending the weekly Day Centre are matched with religious communities, parishes and lay people who are able and willing to provide short-term accommodation. The hosting scheme is part of a larger JRS Europe project promoting hospitality in ten different European countries. In the UK, JRS hopes to continue expanding the scheme, such that more destitute asylum seekers can access accommodation throughout the time that they are unable to work or access public funding.
Salary: £13,800-£15000pa for 3 days a week (22.5 hours), equivalent to £23-25k full time
Duration: 18 month fixed-term contract; potentially renewable
Location: Wapping, London
Reporting to: Communities of Hospitality Project Coordinator

Youth Engagement Project Officer- Christian Aid
Joining a creative and passionate team who believe in the power of the young generation, you will manage and support projects that engage young adults in issues of injustice, inspiring them to act, give and pray and connecting young people around the world.
Bringing your experience of working with young people in churches, universities and schools, you will work with colleagues across the UK to develop our network of young people, co-ordinating events and training to equip students to become empowered activists.
You will be responsible for increasing our engagement with young people aged 11 - 25 across the UK, with a predominant focus on 18 – 25 year olds through building relationships with societies, chaplaincies, and other faith networks.
Salary pro rata: £29,051.20
