Haiti SCM President thanks God for his safety

Almost four weeks after the devastating earthquake in Haiti, news has been received from the President of the Haitian SCM, Rev. Edras Salomon.

Rev Edras has offered his thanksgiving to God for saving his life, but also says that he is very worried about the situation that they are facing after the earthquake.

Gustavo Quintero Casadiego, General Secretary of the Latin America and Carribean region of WSCF said:

"We thank you for your prayers and the contributions that some of you have made from the FUMEC (WSCF) Regions. We invite you to continue united in solidarity as part of the people of God."

The Regional Office will be organising a liturgical celebration on the World Day of Prayer on October 26, with the participation of more than two thousand students and friends. They will be sharing a special offering to support our brothers and sisters in Haiti.
