Abend der Begegnung beim Kirchentag 2009 Bremen

Are you going to Kirchentag? Want to meet up with other SCMers - past and present?

The German SCM and the World Student Christian Federation invite you to a gathering
of students and Senior Friends
, at the 2nd Ecumenical Kirchentag in Munich, Germany.

This year the Kirchentag runs from 12 - 16 May. It is jointly planned by the Protestant and Roman Catholic Churches in Germancy. There will be around 3000 events to choose from - some serious, some cultural, some just fun. Visitors from outside Germany can be accommodated with families.

Imagine something like Greenbelt (but with 160,000 people) in a city - and mix in a bit of Taize and the Edinburgh Festival fringe! Interested in going to Kirchentag this year? Visit http://www.kirchentag.org.uk/ to find out more.

Please read the invitation letter below and let Vassiliki Chryssikopoulou know if you are planning to attend the SCM gathering which takes place at 7.30pm on Thursday 13 May. You can contact Vassiliki by email (esg@bundes-esg.de). Do let the British SCM office know if you are planning to go! We'd love to hear how you get on and may ask you to write-up something for our Grassroots newsletter.
