World Student Christian Federation
The World Student Christian Federation (to which British SCM belongs) enables ecumenical and inter-cultural dialogue between member organisations all over the world.

The European region of the World Student Christian Federation.

Evangelische StudentInnengemeinde (ESG)
The Student Christian Movement in Germany, with whom we work closely in the West European Sub-region.

SCM Canada
The Student Christian Movement in Canada. An ecumenical and interfaith Canadian network of student collectives engaged in spirituality and progressive social justice issues. SCM Canada has worked closely with the British SCM on publications and other projects in the past.

A Belfast-based collective who offer anarchic experiments in transformance art. An experimental community of seekers, trying out new things.

Iona Community
The Iona Community is a dispersed Christian ecumenical community working for peace and social justice, rebuilding of community and the renewal of worship.

Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement (LGCM)
The Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement is a UK-based international Charity which challenges homophobia and transphobia, especially within the Church and faith based organisations, as well as working to create and praying for an inclusive church.

Methodist Church

Modern Churchpeople's Union
Founded in 1898, it still serves as a theological society within the Anglican Communion: standing for a freedom of enquiry in the continuing search for truth, dedicated to sound learning, honesty, openness and integrity.

Moot Community, London
Creative and explorative Christian activity in the city. Moot is an Associate of SCM.

Progressive Christianity Network
Works to promote and support open and contemporary Christian understanding, with a network of local groups across the country, a radical quarterly newsletter, and regular conferences and events.

Student Cross
Nine different groups (legs) walk from different parts of the country across Norfolk to Walsingham. Each Leg carries a large wooden cross as a witness to the people they pass. They meet up at the end of a week in Walsingham to celebrate the Easter liturgies together.

Taizé
An ecumenical monastic community of brothers based in central France with a particular mission towards young people. Through meetings and conferences the community offer hospitality and the opportunity to reach out to the well springs of faith through prayer, silence and searching.

Young Friends General Meeting (YFGM)
Young Friends General Meeting is the national organisation of young adult Quakers in Britain. It provides an opportunity for young adult members and attenders of the Religious Society of Friends to meet like minded people, share interests and to get to know one another "in the things that are eternal". Amnesty International
Amnesty International is a worldwide voluntary movement of people who campaign for human rights.

BOSCO Volunteer Action - Salesian Youth Ministry
UK volunteering organisation of the Salesians of Don Bosco, a Catholic Religious order. It offers placements for adults to serve the young and the poor, living and working alongside Salesian communities around the world. It also supports and encourages methods of raising awareness of development issues. 

Church Action on Poverty
An ecumenical, educational and campaigning organisation, committed to tackling poverty in the UK. They work with churches and other groups across the UK to ensure that the voices of people with first-hand experience of poverty are heard.

Ecumenical Council for Corporate Responsibility
ECCR is an ecumenical body working for corporate responsibility, economic justice and responsible stewardship. They welcome new members.

Ethical Careers Service
Run by People & Planet, it aims to help young people find a socially and environmentally responsible career.

Fellowship of Reconciliation
The Fellowship of Reconciliation began as a response to the challenge of First World War. While opposing war and militarism it strives to promote those things which make for peace and justice, to build 'a world order based on love'.

Jubilee Debt Campaign
Jubilee Debt Campaign is a coalition that campaigns for the cancellation of unpayable poor country debt, and works by raising awareness, organising campaign actions and stunts, lobbying and maintaining the media profile of debt issues.

Jesuit Volunteer Community - JVC
The Jesuit Volunteer Community provides fully funded opportunities for volunteers aged 18 – 35. Volunteers live in community, commit to a simple lifestyle, and participate in a development programme of residential workshops and other events during the year to explore JVC’s four values: social justice, simple lifestyle, spirituality and community.

Pax Christi
A peacemaking movement founded in the Catholic Church but open to all.

People & Planet
This is now the largest student organisation campaigning on international issues in the UK, with groups in over 60 universities and Colleges of FE. Their campaigns cover issues of world poverty, human rights and the environment.

Peace Pledge Union
The oldest non-sectarian pacifist organisation in Britain. It is one of the original sponsors of Campaign Against Arms Trade, a member of the National Peace Council and Liberty and a co-operating organisation of the UK Working Group on Landmines.

Reverend Billy
Reverend Billy and his Church of Stop Shopping instigate various activities and campaigns, sometimes against particular corporations, drawing attention to issues of consumerism.  

Speak
A prayer and campaigning network for students and young people.

Stop Climate Chaos Coalition
A coalition of more than 100 organisations and their 11 million supporters, working together for positive action against climate change. SCM is part of the coalition.

Trade Justice Movement
A movement that campaigns for fundamental change to the unjust rules and institutions governing international trade, so that trade is made to work for all. It is a fast expanding group of organisations, and SCM is a member.

USPG
An Anglican mission agency working in partnership with the church in more than 50 countries. Their work involves pastoral care, social action and supporting training programmes.

Cafe Church Blog- Leeds
Cafe Church began in 2005 at the Universities Chaplaincy in Leeds. The blog is full of lots of creative ideas and reflections on Cafe Church.

The British part of the world Christian meditation community.

Labyrinth
The labyrinth is a modern version of a system of mediaeval spiritual journeying. This site includes an online version, and background information about this increasingly popular exercise.

Loyola Hall Jesuit Spirituality Centre
Loyola Hall is a Christian retreat house, run by the Jesuits, which offers a warm welcome, a safe space and non-judgmental spiritual guidance.
