SCM is looking to recruit two new members of staff to join our friendly team. Read on for more information!

Regional Development Worker (North East England) and Faith in Action Project Lead

Salary: £20-£22,000 depending on experience.
Hours: 35 hours per week, although applications from candidates wanting to work part time will be considered.
Location: TBC within the region, with some UK travel.
Are you passionate about helping young people to deepen their faith? Do you want to help students find inclusive communities where they will be supported to grow in faith and discipleship? Can you help students and young people to reflect theologically on their life and faith?

SCM is looking to appoint a Regional Development Worker for the North East of England, who will also be the lead worker on our Faith in Action Project. You would be joining a growing, dynamic staff team, working to support the movement at a grassroots level. The successful candidate will be someone who is self motivated and is energised by meeting new people and building relationships.

Administration Assistant

Salary: £15,000-£17,000, depending on experience (pro rata)
Hours: 14 hours per week
Location: Birmingham, with some UK travel
SCM is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Administration Assistant with excellent organisational skills to join our busy staff team. You will provide administrative support to the organisation, ensuring that enquiries are processed quickly and that records are kept to a high standard. 

You will be a team player with experience of working or volunteering in an office environment. You will be comfortable working in an ecumenical Christian context and be committed to SCM’s vision and values.

Volunteer with SCM!

Fancy spending your summer at festivals talking to people about how great SCM is? We're looking for a team of volunteers to help spread the SCM joy at loads of events this summer. In return for a few shifts on the SCM stall, you'll get a ticket for the festival including accomodation, help with your travel costs and a food allowance. If you're interested, contact Rob and let him know which festival(s) you'd like to help out with!

Are you looking to give something back to your community, or to develop new skills? We're always looking for volunteers to help out in the SCM office, particularly to help out with administrative tasks and keeping the website up to date. If you have some spare time and would like to help out behind the scenes, please contact Lisa - full training and support will be provided, and all expenses will be covered.
