We try to be a relaxed place, allowing people
to be themselves as they explore their faith.

We are part of the ‘freshexpressions’ movement
within the Anglican community, which is mostly
churches who accept that traditional church
doesn’t work for everyone. Soulspace meets
at 12 noon every Sunday at Desmond Tutu
House, 2 Ashgrove, Great Horton Road, BD7
1BN, next to the University and near the city
centre.

We hold a short, 50 minute service, followed
by Fairtrade drinks in the Cafe nextdoor. The
service itself encourages creativity and discussion.
We story-tell the Bible and replace sermons
with an interactive, dialogical (meaning we
actually talk to each other!) approach. We are
committed to a church that is honest, open
and wishes to support all who are wanting
to grow and explore their faith. We want to
find new ways of understanding what the
ministry of Jesus means for us today. We
strive to be an inclusive community, welcoming
all people, regardless of gender, race or sexuality
and we make efforts to grow in love and
community with those of other faiths within
Bradford.
