Carlisle Cathedral is an inclusive, active, missional, and thinking community, gathered around her love for God with a focus on daily worship.There is a broad provision of worship styles from 1662 to Taize, Iona and Celtic spirituality. We have a very strong musical tradition with choirs consisting of children, youth, students and adults. The Cathedral is a pioneering fresh expression of church, with close connections with Christian Aid, Children's Society, Homeless provision and the Riandu Project (building a school for deaf children in Kenya). We also have strong links with The Way, (18s-30s Church) and the University of Carlisle Chaplaincy.We are seeking part-time interns to support our all-age work.
