SCM @ the Wave

Hi all,

Who's planning on going to the Wave in London on 5th December?

There'll be an ecumenical service at 11am, Westminster Central Hall. The march will begin in Grosvenor Square from 12pm for a 1pm start.

Would be good to gather for the service, and then march together as SCM!

Any ideas for something visual that we can do or wear?

We can bring a banner from the office.... and the SCM ducks who have become a bit famous.

Hopefully I'm bringing lots of people from Southampton way, and indeed the whole "south".

As we're supposed to wear blue (the organisers want everyone in blue) could we not go with SCM apparel all round? That way we'd be in-keeping with the theme and still obviously SCM.

We should definitely wear blue (I've realised I don't own anything bright blue though... so may have to dye or paint something)

Thanks to artistic people over the gathering weekend we have the beginnings of an SCM banner for the Wave. If anyone wants to help finish it off sometime next week get in touch! You'd need to get to the SCM office, but I'm sure we can find food and endless cups of tea for anyone who turns up.
