If you feel that it is a political action to be both Christian and a student - this conference is for you! By viewing today’s society through various theological and political lenses, we will be able to explore our relationship to God and power. We will discuss contemporary issues in both Europe and in the world, such as religion and state, ethics and politics, liberation theology, migration and gender to understand the relationship between Power, Religion and Political Society. Creating community, brainstorming and playing together will give us the opportunity to explore our views, cultures and borders and grow into action for a more Just future. Berlin, a city entrenched in history, will give an interesting backdrop to the visible and invisible marks of the interplay of politics, theology and social justice. We invite you to come to Berlin, with your passion, your questions and your enthusiasm to change the world!
The theme will be addressed through:
Lectures
Experts and participants will provide insight into the intricacies of Power, Religion, and Ethics and lead discussions, concrete brainstorming and question-answer sessions.
The wide variety of cultures, denominations, and faith perspectives will be represented to give a broad overview to the topic from multiple angles.
Group and Panel Discussions
Hearing from participants from around the world and within Europe will provide
inspiration for working back home as well as create a fertile space for lively exchanges.
