This November we are excited to be meeting with Friends all over the Movement. Rach Collins (Regional Development Worker North West) and Post Graduate Student and SCM Member Kenneth are going to sharing about their work over drinks and nibbles.
Kenneth's studies are in International Relations and his research is pretty broad and stretches across the intersections between Security and Warfare, Religious Studies and Technology.
He says "I am looking forward to spending more time hearing people's stories and learning about their lives, so that I can then take those insights forward and effect some positive change that can help them - in the case of my research - access better care and spiritual direction."
Kenneth got involved in SCM through the Lancaster Chaplaincy Centre. He was interested in learning more about how to live out faith at university, and in accessing resources that would help with that.
Rach has worked for SCM for 3 years now and loves spending time with people in her work across the North West and thrives in the chance to lead on events nationally.
Your support of SCM means that the North West Hub can continue to do exciting things and work to support students in deepening their faith and putting that faith into action.
Book now to join Friends from all over the North West.
