Cotham Parish Church
St Saviour with St Mary Cotham (known as Cotham Parish Church) is an Inclusive Christian Community with a 'Creative Contemplative' style of worship and identity. We value and celebrate all, and seek to offer a welcoming, supportive and inspiring context for people to explore faith and life, believing and belonging. We are committed to seeking justice for the earth and all its peoples, to building peace, within ourselves and our world, and to continually reimagining life lived in the presence of God. Set at the heart of the University at the top of St Michael's Hill we are open each weekday morning, and have an interesting programme of groups, events and services. We are in a close 'Benefice' partnership with St Paul's in Clifton and share a commitment to Inclusive Church ethos and values.
On Sundays:
8am Holy Communion - a quiet early gathering
10am Parish Eucharist - a gathering of the church family, young and old, single and partnered, gay and straight; with hymns, chants, songs, thoughtful preaching, an open table and followed by refreshments
7.30pm Foundation - an alternative worship gathering shaped by ancient and contemporary sources with a bar afterwards
