St Barnabas Church, Worcester
Welcome to Worcester! We want to say hello' and hope you settle in well'.If you need a church community and church building in order to thrash out your ideas, theology, prayer life and action - come to St Barnabas Church, Church Road, off Rainbow Hill - we are open all day, every day, or ring the bell at the Rectory, right next door.We are liberal catholic, and enjoy singing, seeking God through prayer, Bible Study and contemplation. We are inclusive and all age. The church is based a 15 minute walk from Worcester City centre. We are a Fairtrade church with a strong social gospel, evidenced by our work in the Tolladine area of the parish and our links with St Pauls and Maggs Centres for the homeless, also newly with Street Pastors. We hold a group here with the particular task of keeping us informed of the work of Christian Aid and Operation Christmas Child, and we have a strong link with supporting the work done with refugees.
