St Alkmund's is a charismatic evangelical church near Derby's city centre. With the University on our doorstep we love welcoming students into our community. Our focus is on having God at the centre of all we do, being a visible sign of God's presence in our community, and fulfilling his purposes for our lives. We're committed to seeing people from every walk of life encounter Jesus in ways which lead to the kind of radical transformation that has no assumptions and redeems communities, families and workplaces. We want to do everything we can to support and help you grow in your faith during your time at university. Therefore we invite you in to the rhythm of our 18-30s network, Tabernacle. This is a place of authenticity where our faith is lived, explored, developed and spoken, whatever that looks like at the time. We also have an alternative worship community on Sunday evenings called Liminal which meets from 6.45pm - 11pm (timescale includes a transition to the pub)
