Great St Mary's, the University Church
The original home of the University of Cambridge, Great St Mary's is an inclusive and open community in the heart of Cambridge. We are also the home of the University Chaplaincy, offering pastoral care to the postgraduate community. Many events and services take place at Michaelhouse, our cafí© & chapel on Trinity Street. Our principle Sunday service is at 9.30am, an all-ages communion service with a full choir and Common Worship liturgy. BCP Communion at 8am, Choral Matins at 11am, and Choral Evensong at 5.30pm, round out our Sunday worship. Weekday services include communion on Mondays, and Morning Prayer on Tuesdays & Thursdays, all at 9.15am. We have a children's communion service at 10.30am Tuesdays at Michaelhouse, which many grad student families attend.
