The Church at Carrs Lane: A welcoming and inclusive community in the heart of the City centre. Traditional but open-spirited with a passion for social justice. We are keen to welcome students and support students throughout your time in Birmingham. Some of us are Birmingham Veterans with heaps of local knowledge and history here, and some of us are newer too so still finding out! We are keen to engage with the City and developing that aspect of our church life. There are things already happening that you can pop into when you like, and we would be very happy to support students in starting a students group, (perhaps with SCM?) if you wanted to. This is a new start and you could come and help shape how things happen.There will be free pizza after Sunday church services for Autumn Term, so do come along and chat over a slice of delicious pizza with us and feel free to give us a shout on facebook, email, or leave us a phone message, and we'll be pleased to hear from you :-) There is lots already happening, including:Daily prayer, Wednesday prayer and healing, Sunday worship, Social justice activities, Fair Trade Shop, Classical Concerts, and more...
