St Thomas the Martyr, Sandyford
St Thomas' is known for being a small, friendly congregation, who welcome people who want to follow Jesus, but question most things. We like asking questions, and seeking to know more about God and about each other. Some of us belong to Progressive Christian Network. We belong to Inclusive Church. We proclaim an inclusive Christianity, that extends far beyond Sundays into our whole week. We host exhibitions, talks, interfaith dialogue, and we campaign for social justice. We host a One World Shop and are open every day between 10.30 & 4.00 for people to drop in, light a candle, or take shelter from the rain. The Sunday service at 10.00am is Holy Communion, followed by refreshments. There is a small midweek Holy Communion service on Wednesdays at 12.15pm. on 24th of every month we pray for Peace in Palestine/Israel. For groups etc please see our website.
