St Columba's United Reformed Church is an interesting place full of interesting people. As a city centre church, we attract people from a large geographic area as well as a number from the University. We are a thinking' church, rooted in the Reformed tradition and wanting our faith to make a difference in the world. Each Sunday we seek to break open the Word, understand the historical context and listen for the word for today's challenges and opportunities. We want to nurture people of all ages in the faith, the presence of young children amongst us is a great gift and source of fun. There is a group of young adults who consider St Columba's their home, a mix of working people and students. Our history is one of ever widening circles, offering a welcome to all. FirstSunday, our LGBT-affirming ministry, meets the first Sunday evening of the month.
