St Mark's, Sheffield
We are an inclusive church who encourage critical questions as an important part of our faith. We are committed to social justice and try to relate our faith to the world we inhabit. We provide a thoughtful, creative space for those who simply want to 'be'. We welcome all, regardless of gender, age, background or sexuality. Our 10am Sunday morning Eucharist uses a traditional but inclusive liturgy, and we often hold Sunday lunches after the service. We also have an 8pm Night Service every Sunday which is popular with students and is a more simple act of worship that embraces silence, creativity and prayer.Students also get involved in a variety of other activities, which are a great way of getting to meet other members of the church. These include our Soup Run on a Saturday evening, our choir on a Sunday morning and Advent/Lent groups. Through the Centre for Radical Christianity, we also regularly host conferences led by thought-provoking, high-profile speakers.
