SCM Connect

St Mary's is a lively mixed parish in the liberal catholic tradition of the Church of England. We aim to be a place of spiritual, intellectual and emotional refreshment in the city centre.We seek to give people the chance to learn and grow in their faith through challenging sermons, groups and courses, and social action. There are several talks per term aimed at students and young people which encourage friendly debate. Every week in term we study biblical texts to try to uncover some answers to questions about contemporary issues.We're an inclusive church in the city centre that will give a warm welcome to everyone. We use Common Worship for the Eucharist and the Book of Common Prayer for Evensong.Bible study is at 8-9pm on a Tuesday in the vaults and gardensSunday services are at 10:30
