The Kingdom Vineyard

In most respects we are a typical Vineyard church, with an emphasis on discipleship through Home Groups, but taking care to offer an accessible, informal Sunday service each week with up-to-date worship, strong Bible teaching and regular opportunities for prayer ministry. Where we differ from the norm is that in term-time 65% of us are students. This being the case, students are invited to take a full part in leading as well as serving in the various ministries of the church, including worship, Small Groups, our food bank, preaching, Young Vineyard and almost anything else you can dream up.More details can be found on our website, or just drop in one Sunday and see for yourself. Sunday services are held at the Victory Memorial Hall, opposite the Students Union, and begin at around 10am with real coffee and doughnuts, moving into worship at 10:30. Smaller meetings are held in homes or at the Vineyard Centre: address below. We value and welcome everyone, whoever you are, and whatever you believe. We know what WE believe on a lot of things, and aren't afraid of a debate, but we'd always rather win a friend than an argument. If we don't feel like home to you, we will be delighted to suggest other churches you might like to try. There are plenty to choose from, and one of them is sure to be right for you.
